Bob Eleder

Graduate of the New York School of Dog Grooming in 1993, Bob got his start as an assistant here at Sleepy Hollow Animal Hospital several years earlier.  At one point he realized he could blend his love of animals with his artistic side, and decided on a career as a groomer.

After several years perfecting his own personal style of grooming here at our facility, creativity struck again, and Bob began "Hair of the Dog Mobile Pet Grooming."  For 5 years his trademark state-of-the-art grooming van spanned nearly all of Westchester County as his reputation grew, and with it, his intensely loyal clientelle.

It became apparent to Bob that eventually travel time made it impossible to meet the desire of his clients to have all of the pets groomed that he would have liked.  He decided to seek a location to set up a grooming parlor.  Returning to his roots, he decided to return to Sleepy Hollow Animal Hospital, where he has been warmly welcomed back.

While some of Bob's clients use other veterinary facilities, it is our goal that they will feel comfortable and welcome here for Hair of the Dog Grooming, with no coercion to join our own clientelle.  Our staff will treat them with the same courtesy and professionalism that has helped us to become one of the most recognized names in Westchester for pet health care.
